“Nabil H. Fakih, of Dearborn Heights, and James P. Allen, Sr., of Detroit, have been named to the board of directors of the Henry Ford Community College Foundation, it was announced Thursday. They will serve three-year terms with the foundation, which raises private funding to support the college. . . Allen is a principal with the Detroit law firm of Allen Brothers Attorneys and chairman of the American Arab Chamber of commerce.”

“We always try to make sure companies active in our community are accessible to our members,” said James Allen, chairman of the board of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce. “This demonstrates the community is coming of age and that we have enough influence to persuade Comcast and other companies to be very interested in and very active in our community.”
